Twenty Questions.
Asking questions is an excellent trigger for creativity. One of my favourite exercises: Setting myself a quota of 20, 50, 100 questions and not stopping before I’ve written that many down. The topic doesn’t matter, neither does whether I have the answer or not. Shall we?

- Where is the root of the situation?
- What is my contribution?
- What do I need?
- How can I do this differently?
- What does this remind me of?
- What outcome do I wish for?
- How long will this take?
- What will make it worth my while?
- Who else is involved?
- Where is passion?
- Where is compassion?
- Who can help with this?
- How can I get more information?
- What is the next action?
- What is holding me back?
- What steps do I see on the way?
- What is the worst thing that can happen?
- How does it align with my values, with my deepest beliefs?
- Who needs to know about this?
- What learning can I pass on to others?
Wow — this looks like a pretty good list of questions to apply to difficult situations, problem solving and/or project planning. I already have 1, 2 ideas for situations I would like to apply this to.
Do you want to play? What questions do you carry right now?
